Academic Pathway Programs

Undergraduate Pathways
The Undergraduate Pathway programs allow you to complete the first year of a four-year undergraduate degree by simultaneously combining academic coursework, English language improvement and development of academic skills in a comprehensive course of study. Upon successful completion of the relevant Undergraduate Pathways program and achieving the required progression criteria, you will progress with confidence into the second year of a relevant four-year undergraduate degree program at OSU.

Graduate Pathways
The Graduate Pathway programs are designed to increase your level of academic achievement and develop your English language and study skills to enable you to enter the graduate school at OSU. The center offers two specialist pathways in Business and Engineering. Successful completion of the relevant Graduate Pathways program, subject to achieving the specified grades and English language competency, offers entry to the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and the Masters in Engineering (MEng) at OSU.

Academic English
Academic English courses provide intensive language instruction from beginner to advanced levels along with the development of academic skills that will prepare you for study in a U.S. university program at the undergraduate or graduate levels.

General English is a flexible, intensive language program for beginner through advanced levels that is augmented with a wide range of optional modules, social and cultural activities. This program is designed for students who want to improve their ability to use English in everyday life or for professional purposes.

Campus Year Abroad
The Campus Year Abroad is an intensive English program for students who wish to improve their English language proficiency for everyday living in a long term, campus-based program. You will spend six to nine months developing your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills while learning about American culture and experiencing life on a U.S. university campus.
